Absolutely beautiful here.
It's like a secret place.
So cosy and clean.
Doggies love it too.
Thank you Jayne.
What a great few days away spent at the retreat.
It has a very welcoming feel to it. There’s everything you need. It’s clean and comfortable.
The site is quiet and well cared for too.
Thank you Jayne.
I stayed here with my mum and dog for a weekend at the beginning of May 2025 and it was fab!

If you do want to head out it’s a good place to explore from.
I am already talking to friends and family about booking again, hoping for this year! Would def recommend x
We’ve just spent a fantastic weekend at the retreat. So snug and cosy, facilities on site were great and loads to do locally for the kids, which they absolutely loved. The caravan has anything you need, plenty of space and a huge bonus that dogs are allowed. We can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended!
The most dog friendly stay and we’ve been on a few! 🐶❤️
Can’t recommend The Retreat enough … whilst the weather wasn’t on our side this weekend it just meant we could make the most of the gorgeous caravan.
We did make it out to Watchet, we saw the waterfall at St Audries Bay and the sun decided to shine for us 😁
We also paid a visit to To

We also paid a visit to Torre Cider Farm.
On route to our next destination we paid a visit to Rumwell Farm shop which took approx 40 minutes and if you require a gluten free diet like me then you are in for a treat! (Last Photo)
We hope to book another visit next year ❤️
A sunny day out in Exmoor today, the beautiful Lorna Doone Valley riverside walk (EX35 6NU), a pit stop at The Buttery Tea rooms before heading back to The Retreat via Robbers Bridge.
The dogs and Charlie are making themselves at home in our holiday retreat. It feels weird allowing them on the sofa but the sign said they can!

We loved the caravan parks swimming pool and made the most of it during our stay. we explored the local beaches, went on the steam train, caught the best crabs ever (they love Smokey bacon), had a pint experience with the exmoor pony centre and took a day trip to wookey hole to explore the caves. We have stay twice and still have so much more to see. Jayne is so helpful and quick to respond with any queries prior or during our stay.

The caravan itself had all the amenities required with comfortable beds, very clean, and everything you would need. Outside space for the Summer months would be brilliant as all the furniture was of excellent quality. Had a brilliant long weekend. Watchet was our first visit with fish and chips on the harbour front. We would definitely visit again.
